Oil on canvas - Landscape of Brittany - by Henri Renard-Brault (1859 - 1939) Signed lower left. Note that the frame has some gaps Born in 1859 in Sèvres and died in 1939, Henri Constantin Renard-Brault is a painter belonging to the current of the French school. He was a pupil of JP Laurens and Gobert. He appeared at the Salon des Artistes Français and received an honorable mention in 1893. He painted landscapes and still lifes. Visible at the Courcelles Antiquités Gallery, at 41 rue des Acacias, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
