Trumeau Between Two Debut XVIII Watteau Style flag

Object description :

"Trumeau Between Two Debut XVIII Watteau Style"
RARE TRUMEAU WITHOUT MIRROR OF BETWEEN TWO, WITH A PRETTY WEATHERED AND WORN BAGUETTE (JUST WHAT IS NEEDED). THE GENDARME'S HAT SHAPE AT THE TOP OF THE TRUMEAU, DATE THIS ONE BEFORE THE ASYMMETRICAL ROCAILLE STYLE OF LOUIS XV. THE COUNTRY SCENE, FOUND THROUGHOUT THE 18th century AND OFTEN INSPIRED BY FAMOUS PAINTERS, IS VERY CERTAINLY INSPIRED BY WATTEAU. THE CANVAS ON THE BACK MAY ALSO BE DATED TO THIS PERIOD. IT PRESENTS 6 OLD RESTORATIONS. THE FRONT VISUAL IS IMPECCABLE, THE REPAINTS ARE NOT NOTICEABLE. VERY STYLISH.
