The bronze sculpture "Harlequin" by Alfred Grevin (1827-1892, France) was cast in 1883. With signature.
Alfred Grévin (January 28, 1827 – May 5, 1892) was a 19th-century caricaturist, best known during his lifetime for his caricatural silhouettes of contemporary Parisiennes. He was also a sculptor, draftsman and designer of costumes and sets for the popular theater.
He founded with the journalist Arthur Meyer the Grévin Museum, a wax museum.
