Object description :

"Pouch/bag: Rebrodé Velvet - XIXth"
Pouch/bag in garnet velvet, embroidered with pansies and flowers. Epoque XIX - Work entirely executed by hand. The interior is lined with gold-coloured quilted silk. The edges of the pocket are lined with fine gold metallic trimmings - it closes with two small gold-colored balls. Four double rings form the handle (gold) slightly faded in places.
