"Table Old Folk Art Matches Bouquet Of Flowers Chinese Vase Signed"
Old rare very beautiful Folk Art painting from the 19th century, work of patience and Cutting, made from match wax and cut matchboxes, the whole forming a lovely Still Life with a bouquet of wild flowers in a vase and little fluttering birds. A delicate and very neat work: signed, captioned and dated "Bonne fête cher Louise, 1893". In its gilded wooden frame with pearls, under glass. A rare document. A few small gaps on the frame are to be noted, the whole is in good condition, see photos above. Dimensions: total 54.5 cm x 40.5 cm, at sight, 49 cm x 34.5 cm.
