Very good condition
Following the humanist intervention of Emir Abd El Kader in Syria who saved several thousand Christians from death, the "Henri IV" lodge of Godf in Paris offered to initiate him, "honor" in his own words, which he accepted.
It was the lodge "Les Pyramides" of Alexandria which was mandated to proceed with the initiation ceremony on June 18, 1864.
The regularization by the lodge Henri IV took place in Paris on April 20, 1865.
The Godf establishes his diploma on July 26, 1865 with the seal number 35078 signed by the Grand Master in charge, General Mélinet.
This diploma has remained in the possession of General Méllinet's family and transmitted by descent to this day.
