Born on March 1, 1829 in Pontailler-sur-Saône (Côte d'Or). Died June 27, 1908 in Pontailler-sur-Saône.
French painter of the 19th century, well known as a painter of Genre and Landscapes.
He was a student of Thomas Couture. He made his debut at the Paris Salon in 1859.
