Oil painting from the end of the 17th century representing Saint John the Baptist in full length, seen in right profile, he is seated on a rock, half-naked, barefoot, covered with a red drapery, one of which is folded over the left shoulder and in a red draped coat, her hair is mid-length wavy. The scene takes place outdoors with rocks and rocks in the background. His left hand holds a shell that collects water from the spring to drink. On the ground a cross with a phylactery, in the foreground a standing lamb, symbol of the coming sacrifice of Christ.
