Silver Ewer - Spain, 19th Century

Beautiful cylindrical silver EWER with rounded base and flared pedestal, horizontal throat, pouring spout and rectangular handle with rolled base. It is decorated with a grotesque mask, a frieze of gadroons surrounded by two moldings, and vertical rods added by welding accompanied by stylized engraved motifs.
Unidentified hallmark probably of a goldsmith from Segovia.
Height: 21.4cm. Weight: 776 g.
