Very good condition

Superb painting by Pierre Bonnaud, whose subject and remarkable movement is reminiscent of Edgar Degas or Henri de Toulouse Lautrec.

A pupil of the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Lyon, then of Jean-Paul Laurens and Gustave Moreau in Paris, he was regularly awarded medals at the Salon of French artists where he exhibited from 1890.

Works by the artist are kept at the Musée des Beaux Arts de Lyon
