Two Old Framed Mirror Or Sheesha Embroidery, India, 49 Cm X 79 Cm, 19th Century

beautiful old examples of mirror embroidery called in India Sheesha, a type of cross-stitch embroidery on colored cotton swatches with inlays of small round mirrors.
This craft was born in Persia in the 13th century, which shows the age of this technique, and was introduced in India during the Mughal period around the 17th century.
.We also find this work in Afghanistan, but with a slightly different technique;
