He had to be observed by the students of the veterinary school, at numerous sessions... Obviously a didactic "naturalia" preparation, undoubtedly by the Boubée house, was easier to store on the shelf than to bring a real horse into the audience... That being said, this object was part of a magnificent cabinet of curiosities, developed for the exhibition at the Leclerc center in Landerneau in Brittany, on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name.
