Bronze 19th century patina medal representing a poet seated at the edge of a stream. Marble base from the Pyrenees Interesting subject that encourages daydreaming. The poet is seated on a tree trunk, he made a sailboat with his hoof and then put it in the water. He holds it with a cord and watches it swing in the current. At his feet are various plants, water lilies, flowers... He holds a pencil in his hand, the softness of the face is very well rendered. It has a bouquet of flowers on the lapel of the hat.
