Imposing garden & living room shooting pistol, Flobert type, NAP III period, circa 1870, 19th century. Walnut barrel partly carved at its end and Renaissance type stock with engraved metal cap. Cannon with sides, striped 27 cm in length, carrying sighting device, rear sight and front sight, caliber 6 mm Flobert. Bridge with finger rest engraved with floral decoration. Rear tail of the engraved dog. Mechanism in working order. This large shooting pistol is 42 cm in length and is one of the largest shooting pistols. The photo next to another regular size shooting pistol shows the difference in size. The control pen measures him: 14.5 cm in length. This pistol is in category D2.
