"Crystal And Silver Mustard Pot, France Spoon Circa 1823"
Mustard pot on a pedestal in cut crystal and cast and chiseled silver with gadroon decoration. It rests on a circular base with a rounded terrace equipped with four claw feet. The frame is made up of two side handles in the shape of swans' heads, two uprights decorated with palm leaves and a hinged cover with a button grip. The mustard pot has retained its removable cut crystal receptacle with flat sides, it is in perfect condition. Work from the Restoration period, circa 1819-1838 Silver 950/1000, Old man hallmarks Master silversmith hallmarks: Alexandre Thierry, Paris 1823-1853, a Parisian silversmith best known for his liturgical objects Height: 12 cm Length: 12.3 cm Diameter base: 6 cm Net weight: 164 gr Seal: an English silver mustard spoon: 15 gr Very good condition / without damage or restorations
