Opal Ring And Fine Pearls

Old ring adorned with a cabochon opal in the center in an entourage of half fine pearls. The frame is delicately openwork chiseled to the base of the ring.

Opal weight: approximately 0.79 carats.
Proportions: Height: 12.7 mm approximately, width: 11 mm approximately, thickness of the ring at the base: 1.7 mm approximately.

Old jewel - Work from the second half of the 19th century.
Our opinion: the opal set on this old ring is splendid, it presents fine play of color in green / blue, all shaded with orange, very probably an opal of Australian origin.
