"Console Late 18th Century"
Rare console in gilded wood resting on 4 twisted legs ending in acanthus leaves and an important square ring with fluted cut sides and rondaches. The fluted jump belt edged with pearl moldings, water leaves and rosettes at the ends. The center of the apron is adorned with a rare oblong medallion in gold églomisé glass on a black background decorated with three small fauns or musical loves. Probably Sicily. End of the 18th century. Wear to the gilding, some gaps, damaged marble. ,
