"18 Thc Tablet Case, Souvenir d'Amitié Bal Notbook Case, Louis XVI Period"
18 ThC Tablet case, Souvenir d'amitié. It is in mother-of-pearl and silver decorated with two medallions with silver decoration on the theme of love: Hearts, arrows and quiver .... It contains a notebook with three ivory writing tablets and a gilt-tipped pencil. Note a small slit visible in the photos as well as some usual wear on the silver decoration also visible in the photos. It is 3,14 inches high, 1,96 inches wide and 0,35 inches thick. France, late 18th century.
