Maurice Hagemans born in 1852 in Liège - died in 1917 in Ixelles, is a Belgian impressionist painter, watercolorist.
He exhibited for the first time in Brussels in 1875. From 1887, Maurice Hagemans became a member of the Société des Aquarellistes Belges.
He was the co-founder a year earlier of L'Art Indépendant.
Its success is growing and in 1892, King Leopold II places an order for four panels for the Chateau d'Ardenne.
Works at the Museums of Namur, Ostend, Brussels, Antwerp, Liège.
