"Pair Of "amphora" Vases In Marble And Gilt Bronze Late Nineteenth"
Pair of amphorae vases in the style of the Antique in red veined white marble, gilt bronze mount late 19th century. The handles chiseled with foliage and water flowers are adorned with finely chiseled masks of young women in the Antique. The baluster-shaped vases are adorned with foliage escutcheons and topped with a marble lid topped with a pine cone and gilt bronze water flowers. They end with a pedestal chiseled with foliage resting on a richly chiseled square base placed on four small feet. Original gilding in very good condition cleaned by our workshop. Quality work from the last quarter of the 19th century.
