.Magnificent painting representing, after researches the Gothic bridge over La Truyère in Entraygues in Aveyron . Oil signed in bottom right Eugène Béringuier.Subject treated with an impressionist touch with a beautiful palette of nuanced colors, which gives a very bright picture. Eugène Béringuier was born in 1874 in Toulouse. A pupil of Benjamin Constant and JPLaurens, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1900 to 1925 and became a member of it. He appeared at the Salon des Indépendants in 1927. He died on 01/05/1949 in Castelnaud Fayac (Dordogne). Oil in good condition, cleaned and refinished.
