Nice painting by Odette du Bosch representing a bouquet of flowers made up of glaeuils. Our oil on canvas is signed lower right Odette Du Bosch, it is sold in a gilded frame. Odette du Bosch was born Odette Misermont in 1903 in Limoges and died in 1993. She lived in Algeria from 1925 to 1962 with her industrial husband Gerard Du Bosch. She was a pupil of the famous Flemish painter Emile Deckens. The first part of his work reveals his love for Algeria and Orientalism. After her return to France in 1962 in her native Limousin, numerous exhibitions are devoted to her works, she was honorary president of the Artists of Limousin.
