Liqueur cabaret in the shape of a woven basket, in gold metal, containing 6 liqueur glasses with engraved decoration, hallmarked with Christofle below and on the side.Charles Christofle turned to goldsmithing in 1842 and in 1845 obtained his master's mark. It is in 1851 that the Christofle house becomes supplier of Napoleon III in 1851 then most of the imperial and royal courts. Christofle continues this tradition by being today the supplier of the Elysée.
