"Chank Shell Indian Ocean Silver Frame"
The "Chank", "Turbinella pyrum", is a shell from the Pacific Ocean, sacred in India by Hindus and Buddhists. Used as a musical instrument at home. it is also one of the heaviest shells in the world. Here, it is engraved and on a chiseled silver mount.
