"English Silver Metal Inkwell, Golfer Circa 1880"
Original English silver metal inkwell from the late 19th century (circa 1880) This inkwell consists of 2 cut crystal inkwells, a pen holder and in its center a gentleman golfer. Hallmark below JD & S is James Deakin and Sons of Scheffeld. Very good general condition apart from a slight lack of metal (see photo) and a small chip at the foot of the ink container (invisible when placed). Dimensions length 26 cm width 17 cm height 18 cm
