"Porcelain Covered Pot - Eugene Clauss Paris - XIXth."
Large covered porcelain pot decorated in MEISSEN style. Large circular band in relief under enamel imitating basketry. The whole decor takes up the Flemish theme inspired by THENIERS. Lid decorated with two animated scenes. Fretel in the shape of love holding a garland of flowers. This pretty pot is marked with crossed swords in underglaze blue and the letters EC for Eugène CLAUSS, hard porcelain factory in PARIS (1870-1890). Height: 36.5 cm. Good condition.
