"Fireman Officer's Sword. Early Restoration Period."
Firefighter officer's sword from the early restoration period. Horn handle with filigree. Brass frame. Guard a branch. Keyboard with “helmets” on two crossed axes surrounded by oak and bay leaves. Straight chiseled blade, with traces of oxidation. Leather scabbard with two cut brass fittings. Good general condition, with traces of use and remains of gilding, visible in the photographs. A note the dragone is posterior, but of good presentation on this sword. length 103 cm.
