Impressive terracotta dating from the early twentieth century art nouveau representing a couple of Breton or perhaps Flemish villagers. a very lively sculpture, the scene takes place in the open air, the girl's dress seems to be carried by the wind, the drape is very realistic.
the young man seems to be asking for a kiss from the smiling girl busy carrying a large basket.
the attitudes are very natural and the faces of the young people are charming.

both wear clogs and their typical clothes from the late 19th century are reminiscent of Flanders or Brittany.
a very large terracotta with an original mixture of terracotta and stucco inside for the sake of strength. the bronze green patina is original and very beautiful, it plays well with light.

it is signed twice by P.Roy on the terrace and numbered 2801/18.
no breakage or restoration, just a small lack of material at the back visible in the photos and which we can restore in the workshop.
