Roll of paint on tissue paper (against pasted on paper) representing a beautiful bird, a phoenix, among colorful flowers and foliage, from Japan, vintage late eighteenth-early nineteenth centuries. This roll is in its own juice. A note: many tears (including a large one at the top), gaps, folds and accidents on the paper on the decorations, some yellowing, wear of time, see photos.
