Sword of staff officer, Consulate period, Louis Philippe, XIX °. Flat butted pommel, receiving a joining arc terminated by 1 curved quillon with acanthus leaf decoration. Joining arc chiseled with a geometric diamond decoration with a pearl medallion in its center surrounded by foliage. Fuse with mother-of-pearl plate, one smooth and the other striped vertically. Half-moon keyboard with embellished spider web decoration ending in pearls. Triangular blade, with manufacturer's mark on the heel of the blade, "ICB" for Johann & Clemens BOEGEL in Solingen. (Active from Louis XIV to Louis XVIII). Blade engraved in the 1st third with remaining gilding on military and floral attributes.
