"rebecca At The Well?", C. Spinetti, 1880

Oil on canvas depicting a young woman carrying a jar on her shoulder, dated 1880, signed lower left C. Spinetti. The Museum of Art and History of Judaism in Paris has a postcard printed in Warsaw (Litianon company), from this painting, entitled "Rebecca", C.Spinetti. The description speaks of Mario Spinetti, 1848-1925. Everything suggests that it is the same painter. Very nice effect, good condition. Reinforcement at the back; the table has been cleaned up. Vintage copper leaf frame.
