Rare in pair! After Jean Baptiste Carpeaux (1827-1875), pair of terracotta busts representing his famous sculptures the Laughing and Laughing Neapolitans. These busts have been reproduced in all sizes and materials, our proofs are of good size and date from the end of the 19th century. No signature, a few chips here and there but very decorative and very rare objects in pairs. Period late nineteenth century.
