Object description :

"India, XVIIIth Century, Bronze Group Khandoba (avatar Of Shiva) On His Horse."
India, 18th century, very nice bronze group depicting Khandoba, avatar of Shiva in his warlike form, on his horse. The deity was cast separately from the mount. Total height: 14.5 cm. Length: 9 cm. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to all. Condition: several cast iron defects visible on the base. Missing sword in the right hand. In the photographs, Khandoba holds thanks to a small patch of adhesive paste, the two parts being very patinated and therefore too smooth.
