Object description :

"Nigeria, Cham-mwana People, XIXth Century, Anthropomorphic Kwandalha Container."
Superb and rare anthropomorphic Kwandalha container or healing pot, Cham-Mwana from Nigeria, in terracotta dating from the 19th century. This piece should be compared to a similar model found in the Barbier-Mueller collection in Geneva, referenced in the inventory and in the work devoted to African terracotta in this museum. Beautiful crusty patina. Good condition except for an old lack at eye level, without affecting the beautiful aesthetic. Height 27 cm without the wooden ring serving as its base.
We take particular care of our packaging by using optimum protection. The shipment is made with insurance included. Shipping rates: Metropolitan France: 25 euros, countries of the European Union and Switzerland: 35 euros, countries of Eastern Europe and the Maghreb: 65 euros, United States, Australia, Asia and the rest of the world: 115 euros.
