Large portrait of a woman taking out a pearl necklace from her jewelry box, Flemish or Dutch school from the very beginning of the 19th century. This painting with dark colors and an intimate atmosphere is largely inspired by portraits made in the 17th century. A coat of arms is represented at the top right of the portrait. Our painting is in very good condition, some old small repairs and tiny restorations are to be noted. Rear frame in black and gold lacquered wood. Canvas dimensions only: 92cm x 73cm
