Dagger from the "Imperial Forest School", Second Empire period, 1853. Frame in gilded bronze, molded, chiseled, bearing inscription on the body node "Forests" and oak branches, decorated with a palmette on the reverse, arched with a frieze of ovals and pearls. Globular bee pommel, interlacing, oak leaf and pearls with rivet buttons. Quillon with eagle heads, rosettes, pearls, oak leaves. Rocket in black horn with vertical groove. flat blade with flat back on the 1st third and with 1 cutting edge with counter cutting edge of 53.5 cm in length. Blade engraved on one side with an attribute of hunting trophies and foliage. On the other, foliage and inscription: "Ecole Impériale Forestière". On the back of the blade, partly illegible, "Manufacture de klingental Coulaux". Blade with wear of time and oxidation in places. Central ridge brought from the center to the tip.
