Andrée Bizet Nude Portrait of a Woman French School of the XXth Century HST Andrée Bizet (1888-1970) Portrait of a reclining nude woman. Inscribed lower left: "A Uhthoff, amitiés" Signed Andrée Bizet. Dated 1932. French school of the 20th century. Andrée Bizet was a painter born in Poitiers in 1888. She exhibited for the first time at the Salon d'Automne in 1910 then at the Salon des Tuileries et des Indépendants. In 1938 she organized as group leader a female section in Exhibitions of groups of artists at the Petit Palais. Following a trip to Greece, she worked on sculpture with Bourdelle. Oil on canvas.
