"Tour Earthenware Trim"
This earthenware set from Tours (Indre et Loire) dates from the beginning of the 20th century in a very pronounced oriental style. The decor consists of facing griffins, crescent moons, arabesques, stylized foliage and friezes hand painted in gold on a matte black background. The 3 pieces are signed by Pinon-Heuzé decorators and bear the stamp of the manufacture with the tower and the initials JP for Jaget Pinon.
