"Nineteenth Lacquer And Bronze Office Kit"
Beautiful writing case with bell and pair of torches forming a luxurious desk set in finely chiseled and gilded bronze with rich rococo decoration, the inkwell tanks and the tray are embellished with an Far Eastern lacquer with a pattern of a lake landscape lively house and pagoda. Very good quality work to be compared to the bronzier Blaise Millet for the famous house François Linke. All in good condition, beautiful gilding, to note wear and losses on the lacquer of the tanks. Inkwells: 40 cm long X 25 cm wide X 16 cm high / Torches: 13 cm high X 12 cm wide.
