Early 18th century sword, with 1 quillon step and flat blade à la "Francs Taupins". Globular pommel entirely decorated with scene of characters and riders with rivet button. Brass frame. Joining arch without secondary branch adorned in its center with a macaroon and animal head. Small openwork bivalve keyboard decorated with a monster flanked by sphinxes. Recoubé quillon decorated with a fantastic animal's head, decorated pontats crest (see photos). Wide flat blade of the "Francs Taupins" type said to the (colismarde, widening at the base on the quarter of the length. 2-edged blade with median gutter ending at 6 cm from the tip.
