This console table is attributed to Valérian Rybar, a great 20th century decorator and known as "the most expensive decorator in the world"

Valerian Rybar has made a name for himself in the world of decoration for his creations and his original and extravagant interiors. He loved to mix antique furniture with his own designs.
With his colleague Jean-François Daigre, they founded the Valerian Rybar & Daigre Design Corporation of New York and Paris.
