Caliber: 44 S&W American


Round barrel, rifled, with top band marked :
SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS USA PAT JULY 10 60 JAN 17 FEB 17 JULY 11 65 & AUG 24-69
And marked US with A and P punches
This is one of 1500 examples with oiling hole under the lower barrel reinforcement.
Steel frame with A and P hallmarks.
Lock stamped M4.
Wooden plates with serial number.
Stock stamped with its number 1681.

Very good condition. Blue to 30%. Clear barrel scratches, very little play and good indexing.
