Very pretty little two-seater sofa in walnut, very richly molded and carved on the front and on its sides of interlacing, heart spokes, pearls and rosettes in their centers. The armrests decorated with acanthus leaves, and the connecting dice with rosettes, it rests on small tapered feet, the asparagus flutes, the laurel leaf ring.Louis XVI style. Period XIXth century.

The quality of execution and the richness of the attributes, make this small sofa particularly close to the most beautiful executed by Jean Baptiste Claude SENE (1747-1803), the greatest Master of the French siege under Louis XVI, with Georges JACOB; Its seats, whose lines are always pure, are very neat, very refined, very well proportioned.
