Old snuffbox in chiseled pomponne. Model dating from the second part of the 18th century. Cover decorated with an equestrian battle scene, allegory of France facing the quadruple alliance of 1718. The rim is decorated with riders and military trophies, also chiseled with two captives, modeled on the work of Martin VAN DER BOGAERT said Martin DESJARDINS (1637-1694). Good condition with wear to the patina.
