Russia, grenadier miter of the regiment of the Imperial guard "PAVLOVSKI", XIX °. Stamped brass plate with decoration of the great imperial arms, decorated with the crowned Russian double-headed eagle and the motto "god with us" inscribed in two banners which come out of the crown. On the eagle, in a shield, ST-GEORGES slaying the dragon. This headdress was removed on February 13, 1805 and only the PAVLOVSKI regiments were authorized to keep it, it will remain their prerogative until the beginning of the 20th century. These miters were still worn by the regiment until 1917. Scarlet cloth (with its dust and period patina) and beige brown. Inside the headdress with its fabrics, sweat mark. Small moth holes in the sheet, pompom absent, as well as the chin straps.
