Very rare toy from the Kobe school, representing Daruma in the form of a doll. The Daruma doll is made of carved wood, can be aimed to open and reveal a compartment with three miniature dice inside. Daruma's face is carved from deer antler and has eyes that come out and go in when the toy is shaken. The protruding tongue is fixed. Daruma wrapped in his cloak. Meiji period (1868-1912).
