Chest of drawers in Rio rosewood marquetry in the Regency style, Louis XV period, XVIII Estamplillée DELORME ** opening with four drawers in three rows. Drawers in Rio rosewood marquetry in four leaves framed with a light satin net in counter-thread, all in a rosewood frame in two leaves. Crosses inlaid with rosewood underlined by a simulated flute in light satin, rounded uprights with simulated flutes in light satin, sides in geometric marquetry of Rio rosewood in four leaves forming a rhombus underlined by a net in light satin followed by four leaves in triangular Rio rosewood also highlighted with a light satin net. Rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes: keyholes, pull handles, offcuts, apron, all the bronzes are original. Stamped on the front left and front right upright. Top in molded Royal red marble (old restorations). We recognize the very good quality of execution of Adrien DELORME. ** DELORME FAIZELOT Adrien received Master on June 22, 1748, from a family of craftsmen whose original name is FAIZELOT, eldest son of François DELORME.
