Dated lower right of the letter: 1698
Condition: as is, the canvas is original, it has obviously been stretched and studded on a slightly larger frame. (see photo) The old frame must have included transverse bars in the angles of which there are still the canvas reinforcements of the time (see photos of the back) and which left an imprint on the canvas. Several small old restorations.
The whole is nevertheless very correct considering the seniority.
The framework is recent.
