Object description :

"Pair Of Embraces In Golden Bronzes With Roaring Lions End Of XIX Eme"
Pair of gilt bronze tiebacks decorated with roaring lions dating from the end of the 19th century.
very decorative, these tiebacks just need to be installed, a metal strip at the back allows easy installation.
the motif of lion heads with their mouths open is not common.
very good general condition, it just lacks a little bit of gilding but it is hardly visible.
A very pretty pair of embraces, easily adapting to any type of decoration: Louis XIV, empire, Napoleon III. the fact remains that this type of embrace remains difficult to find.
dimensions: 17.5 cm high in total, 9 cm deep and 7 cm wide maximum.
