Elegant octagonal pedestal table, with tilting top in lemon tree veneer in a mahogany frame, surrounded by a brass gallery. The curved legs are joined by a fluted column, supporting turned base adorned with a chiseled bronze ring.Parisian work.
End of the Louis XVI period.

The Encyclopedia of DIDEROT and D'ALEMBERT (1751-1772) says of him that "his convenience is to be transported wherever one wants". Also the pedestal tables were fitted with wheels, absent here.
